Colorado Nature Photography as you have never seen it before...
experience the magnitude of the wonder of creation when you view the miracles of nature differently!

Dick Lovenburg
For the past 17 years, often traveling with one of his faithful German shepherds, Dick Lovenburg has trudged through icy mountain streams, stumbled through snow banks, and endured 110+ degree temperatures all in the pursuit of more than 30,000 photos. His extensive collection of landscapes, which range from the pristine mountains of Colorado to the sensuous undulating curves found in several Arizona desert caves, are truly a study in contrasts. His images are expressive, personal and the direct result of his deep reverence for nature. Citing his many years of study and performance in both classical piano and jazz trumpet, Lovenburg continues to insist upon maintaining complete artistic control in the publication of his images. His relentless attention to detail is the benchmark of The Wonder of Creation, Inc which he founded in 2000. The highlight of Dick's artistic career occurred in September 2008 when he received an invitation to the White House to present a copy of his work to the President of the United States.

Kathy Lovenburg
Kathy Lovenburg has a passion for the outdoors that started at an early age. Always eager to learn, she diligently worked to increase her knowledge of plants and flowers, resulting in a deep respect for the intricate beauty of nature. It was through painting classes that Kathy's artistic tendencies began to emerge utilizing various mediums and subject matter; she worked to develop her artistic talents. An interest in casual point-and-shoot photography also helped to fine-tune her compositional skills but it wasn't until she met her husband and completed her first Nikon School digital photography class that she considered the possibility of pursuing a career in professional photography. Today, her emotionally captivating images skillfully embody both the complexity and intensity of fall colors while utilizing dramatic backlighting to accentuate the contrast between light and dark. Clearly Kathy's unique perspective and style have been defined.
